JOB SUMMARY

The University of Connecticut Division of Athletics is accepting applications and nominations for the full-time position of Assistant Director of Ticket Operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the direction of the Associate Director of Athletics/Ticket Operations, this position will assist with all daily operational, financial and customer satisfaction responsibilities, which includes, but is not limited to: assist with selling tickets; meets and exceeds standards for delivering a high level of customer satisfaction to all Husky Athletic Fund donors, season ticket holders and external/internal constituents; preparing and reconciling daily athletic ticket office deposits;  follows established compliance protocols and rules governing the administration and distribution of complimentary tickets; manages and monitors incoming calls and intervenes when needed for problem-solving; manages and monitors customer service window and troubleshoots when needed to resolve problems; general oversight of season, mini, single and game day sales; train student employees to provide high-levels of customer satisfaction over the phone and in person; assists with setup and transactional needs related to player/coach guest ticket management using ARMS; utilize Paciolan’ s PAC Live (formerly eVenue) and PAC io ( including PAC 7, tRes, eQuery and Access Management) platforms along with Ballena Technologies Seats 3D and Seat Relocation Management Systems; delivers tickets to customers using conventional and digital methods; data entry; finalizes, organizes and packages all event related materials into game bundles for historical and audit purposes; serves as a daily contact for Taymar Sales representatives for internal and external problem-solving.

Specific sport responsibilities will include serving as the primary ticket office administrator for volleyball, women’s ice hockey, and baseball. Assists with game day ticket operations for football, men’s and women’s basketball, and men’s ice hockey as needed.

Technical responsibilities will include responsibility for event and manifest creation, online sales setup, and database reporting using Paciolan's ticketing products and services.

Financial responsibilities will include preparing and organizing the daily deposit of ticket revenue to include cash, checks, and credit cards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree and three to four years of demonstrated ticket operations experience in a Division I athletics ticket operations office, or Master's degree and one to two years of demonstrated ticket operations experience in a Division I athletics ticket operations office.
  • demonstrated experience with Paciolan’s PAC Live (formerly eVenue) and PAC io (including PAC 7, tRes, eQuery, and Access Management) platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing ARMS for player and coach guest ticket management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree.
  • Demonstrated and/or related ticket operations experience with FBS football and multiple Division 1 sports, including basketball, soccer, and ice hockey, simultaneously including postseason events.
  • Demonstrated experience with FEVO, along with demonstrated experience with preparing and organizing deposits, including utilizing Remote Deposit Service Online (RDSO) and ticket office transactions to ensure fiscal accuracy.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Relocation assistance is not available.
