Q Center Coordinator in Storrs Campus
Under the direction of the Q Center Director, the Educational Program Coordinator (working title: Q Center Coordinator) provides critical support in maintaining the Q Center's day-to-day operations. The Coordinator is responsible for hiring tutors, program assistants, shift supervisors, and receptionists, and will assist in hiring Teaching Assistants (TAs). This position is also responsible for supervising, training, evaluating, and assigning work to the tutors, program assistants, receptionists, and TAs. The Coordinator also coordinates academic support efforts between the Q Centers across the UConn system, as well as the Academic Achievement Center, W Center, and other units responsible for academic support and success at UConn.

In this role, the Director will fulfill the mission of the University of Connecticut School of Nursing (UConn SON) by supervising instruction and course development PMHNP track and work with other GTDs in the MS Program’s graduate tracks, and instructional designers, to construct dynamic online courses and nationally focused clinical precepted experiences that align with professional nursing accreditation standards, guidelines, practices, competencies, and the UConn SON mission and values.
