The University of Connecticut is seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill a full-time position as a Business Systems Analyst in the Information Technology Services organization. This position will provide leadership in the support and troubleshooting of various systems managed by the Enterprise Financials Team. Primary duties will include the administration and support of the Kuali Financial System and secondary roles with Jaggaer/SciQuest E-Procurement and Concur Travel and Expense. As part of the Enterprise Financials Team, the Business Systems Analyst will interact with various members of the University community, including both operational and academic areas, to understand, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system problems. Working with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s), the selected candidate will propose solutions, changes, and enhancements to the functionality, configuration, and security of our enterprise applications which meet the requirements of the University, match industry best practices, and observe sound financial principles. The Business Systems Analyst will work independently with minimal supervision and at the same time coordinate their activities with other team members. The selected candidate will be expected to apply a high degree of technical expertise and advanced knowledge of financial system management and accounting principles to provide advanced user support, coordinate activities between various constituents, and understand the requirements and needs of the University community. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
