JOB SUMMARY

The Auditory Perception and Neuroscience Lab (PI: Akshay Maggu, PhD) at the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at the University of Connecticut is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to join their team to work on projects investigating central auditory processing using behavioral, physiological, and electrophysiological measures. The position is for one year, renewable for up to two years depending on funding and performance, and open for an immediate start.  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Behavioral and electrophysiological data collection.
  • Data analyses.
  • Dissemination of results via presenting at conferences and writing manuscripts.
  • Development of IRB protocols.
  • Collaboration with other postdocs, grad students, and undergraduates in the lab.
  • Other project-relevant tasks assigned by the PI.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Au.D., Ph.D., or Au.D.-Ph.D. by the start date of the appointment. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Clinical certification (ASHA CCC-A or ABA certification).
  • Experience working with EEG and the pediatric population.

APPOINTMENT TERMS
